At the Department of ICT in University of Agder, Hossein has started his Ph.D. on humanitarian logistics since January 2015. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, respectively, from Iranian universities. Before doing his Ph.D., he worked as Engineering Manager in an Iranian construction company dealt with industrial projects for more than four years. Meanwhile, he was also a guest lecturer at Payam-e-Noor University in Iran where he taught courses on supply chain management Ent, entrepreneurship. and operations management.
He has published and presented research papers regarding risk management, facility locations, and performance measurement in the both contexts of industrial and humanitarian supply chains. He has been a reviewer in Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management and also a member of scientific committees in some international conferences.
